Karen Bilowith named a CEO of Influence

ICF President and CEO Karen Bilowith received a CEO of Influence award from the Idaho Business Review, one of 20 leaders from throughout the state to receive the honor. ICF Board Director Heidi Rogers, CEO of the Northwest Council for Computer Education, was also named a CEO of Influence.

Awardees are nominated and applications are reviewed by past honorees, who consider each candidate’s track record of leadership, vision, innovation, competitiveness, financial performance and community leadership.

Idaho Nonprofit Center President and CEO Amy Little nominated Karen for the award. “I am proud to call Karen a partner in this work we are doing and I could think of no one more deserving of recognition,” she said.

This is the 10th year of the CEO of Influence awards. In past years, the awards were presented during a live ceremony, but this year’s was a virtual event.

Several ICF Board Directors and partners joined the virtual ceremony to help Karen, Heidi and the other awardees celebrate.

“Cheers to friends and colleagues Karen Bilowith, Heidi Rogers and a special shout out to my friend (CEO of Museum of Idaho) Karen Baker,” said ICF Board Chair Steve Carr. “They are all CEO’s of Influence!”

Former ICF Board Chair Sue Thilo offered her congratulations to Karen and Heidi as well: “They are amazing leaders and amazing women.”

Karen said she was proud to receive the award and noted that it was an accomplished field of honorees.

“I am so pleased to be among this distinguished list of awardees,” Karen said. “It is a great recognition of the charitable impact the Idaho Community Foundation has on our state.”
