Grangeville Community Foundation
About GCF
Grangeville Community Foundation (GCF) is an affiliate of The Idaho Community Foundation (ICF) and was created in 2012 by the people of Grangeville for the people of Grangeville. Our vision is to create a vibrant and healthy community now and for future generations.
Gifts are gathered and, in partnership with ICF, placed in an endowment fund. The fund is invested to grow over time, a permanent community savings account. A percentage of the fund's earnings are distributed as grants by a local volunteer board.
Average grants ranging from $250 to $2,500 are awarded to eligible organizations or individuals within 5 miles of the Grangeville city limits or whose primary purpose is to benefit Grangeville. Since 2013, GCF has awarded over $130,000 to Grangeville organizations.
The grant application cycle is open from February 1st through March 15th. Please read the GCF Grant Guidelines before applying. Grants are awarded in late April/early May. Please contact our Grant Chairperson for more information.

Make an Impact
The Grangeville Community Foundation is an affiliate of The Idaho Community Foundation. Gifts made to this affiliate are tax-deductible to the full extent permitted by law. ICF is a 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 82-0425063) as determined by the IRS under sections 501(a), 501(c)(3), 509(a)(1), and 170(b)(1)(A)(vi).
We invite you to join others who care about our community to create a permanent resource for the future through endowed philanthropy. Whatever your giving preference, your gift will make a larger impact when pooled with others and invested properly.
Our goals include guiding people toward solving local issues, inspiring community investment, and instilling a tradition of philanthropy. We honor individuals and organizations who demonstrate the spirit of philanthropy with a Webb Award each year.
