ICF manages over 50 different scholarship funds. Each scholarship has its own eligibility criteria and application requirements. 


Statewide Idaho Scholarships

Idaho

AAUW Boise Area Inez Robb Scholarship Fund

For female bachelor’s degree-seeking juniors and seniors at Boise State University, graduating within two years of receiving scholarship award.  Deadline is March 15.  

Alois and Marie Goldmann Memorial Scholarship Fund

Created by the George and Mary Freund family of Idaho Falls to memorialize his maternal grandparents who were murdered during World War II at Auschwitz. Open to graduating high school seniors statewide who will be attending an Idaho college or university. Deadline is March 1.  

Anne Veseth Memorial Scholarship Fund

For graduating high school seniors or current undergraduate college students attending or planning to attend a public or private, two- or four-year college or university in the state of Idaho and majoring or planning to major in Fire Ecology or Auto Mechanics. Or for any student who is also a current Wildland Firefighter majoring in any subject. Deadline is March 15. 

Idaho Nursing and Health Professions Scholarship Fund

For students who have been accepted to an accredited Idaho nursing or health professions program, and can demonstrate financial need. Deadline is March 15.

Idaho Power Company Memorial Scholarship Fund

Created to memorialize the lives of former Idaho Power employees Douglas E. Sprenger, Kevin M. Whittier and Larry R. Wimer, this scholarship is open to 1) graduating high school seniors planning to enroll in an engineering program at an accredited Idaho college; OR 2) college students of any level enrolling in a natural resources program at an accredited Idaho college. Deadline is March 1. 

Idaho Press Club - Don Watkins Memorial Scholarship

For second-year college students majoring in journalism or communication, or who work for a college or professional media outlet.

Idaho Press Club - Don Watkins Professional Development Scholarship

For members of the Idaho Press Club to use for training or a project that will improve the working press in Idaho. 

Idaho Society of CPA’s Scholarship Fund

Created to attract the best and brightest students to the profession, scholarships benefit students pursuing an accounting degree at an Idaho school.  Open to full-time students at the junior or senior level majoring in accounting at a public or private college or university in the state of Idaho.

Idaho State Council of Trout Unlimited Graduate Scholarship Fund

For members of an Idaho Chapter of Trout Unlimited enrolled at the graduate level at an Idaho university, researching native or endemic coldwater fish, or a related field.  Deadline is March 15.  

Jackson Companies Scholarship Fund

For children or dependents of active, full-time Jackson Companies employees. Minimum GPA of 3.0. Preference may be given to students who demonstrate financial need. Deadline is April 1. 

Kathryn A. Scott Scholarship Fund

For nontraditional students who are single mothers enrolling in at least 9 credits in a degree-seeking or certification program at Boise State University or College of Western Idaho.  Deadline is March 15.

Larry J. May Hospitality Management Scholarship Fund

 For full-time students enrolled in a degree-seeking program related to the hospitality industry, including hotel/lodging, food service/restaurant, entertainment/golf club, resort, and the travel/tourism industries. Deadline is March 15.

Margaret A. Plastino Memorial Scholarship for Idaho Nurses

For students who are currently enrolled or have been accepted into an accredited nursing program at Boise State University, Idaho State University, or Lewis-Clark State College. Pre-licensure, RN to BSN, and graduate level students are welcome to apply. Deadline is March 15.  

Mike Crapo Math and Science Scholarship Fund

For graduating high school seniors planning to major in math, science, or engineering at a four-year college or university in the state of Idaho. Minimum GPA of 3.0. Deadline is March 15. 

Robert C. Weaver Memorial Scholarship Fund

For part-time or full-time traditional or non-traditional students pursuing post high school vocational or academic training.  Preference given to residents of Buhl, graduates of Buhl High School, or former residents of Buhl. Deadline is March 15. 

Yvonne and Dick Lierz Scholarship Fund

For students who have made significant contributions to their community through community service enrolling in their first or second year at a public Idaho or Nevada university. Deadline is March 15.

East Idaho Scholarships

East Idaho

Diamond W Scholarship Fund

For graduating seniors from Snake River High School planning to attend any 2- or 4-year college/university. Minimum GPA 3.0. Preference may be given to students attending college/university in Idaho. Deadline is May 1.

J. Carl Mattson Scholarship Fund

For graduating seniors from Firth High School who have completed at least six trimesters (or the equivalent) of Vocational Agriculture and have been active in Future Farmers of America and Vo-Ag activities. Applicants need not be pursuing a degree in agriculture. Deadline is March 15.  

Preston and Franklin County High School Alumni Scholarship Fund

For graduating seniors from Preston High School or Franklin County High School planning to attend an accredited college, university, or vocational school. For scholarship application and deadline click here or contact Preston High School.

W.L. Shattuck Scholarship

For graduating seniors or graduates of Idaho Falls School District 91 or 93, who are 16 to 26 years of age, and who can demonstrate financial need.  Undergraduate students only.  Deadline is March 15.

North Idaho Scholarships

Alvie C. Jeffres Memorial Scholarship Fund

For residents of Bonner County attending or planning to attend a community college, college, university, vocational, or technical school. Minimum 2.5 GPA. Awarded primarily based on financial need. Deadline is March 15.

Chesnut Family Scholarship Fund

For graduating seniors of Post Falls High School who are intending to major in health sciences. Must be planning to attend a 2- or 4-year Idaho college or university. Not accepting applications until 2026.

D & D Rhoades Scholarship Fund

For students studying or planning to study agriculture or a related field who are graduating from or have graduated from the following North Idaho high schools: Clearwater Valley High School, Grangeville High School, Highland High School, Kamiah High School, Prairie High School, Nezperce High School. Minimum 3.5 GPA. Deadline is March 15.

Dorothy B. Adler Scholarship Fund

For students graduating from Lake Pend Oreille Alternative High School who qualify for the free or reduced lunch program and have a minimum Lake Pend Oreille Alternative High School GPA of 2.0. Please contact the Lake Pend Oreille Alternative High School counselor's office for an application.

Irene Gustafson Scholarship Fund

For graduating high school seniors from Moscow High School who possess ability in both written and oral English, creative writing ability, and have volunteer involvement in at least one activity benefitting the community.  Deadline is March 15.  

James E. Hawkins Memorial Scholarship Fund

For graduating high school seniors and graduates of Salmon River High School in Riggins with a minimum 3.0 GPA and planning to attend a higher education institution as a fulltime undergraduate student. Preference may be given to applicants seeking a degree in Business Marketing or a degree related to Forest Products and Wildlife Resources.  Deadline is March 15.  

Joybelle Scott College Scholarship

For seniors graduating from Orofino High School with financial need who are pursuing a college degree. Minimum 3.0 GPA. Deadline is February 10. 

Lucille F. Zanetti Scholarship Fund

For graduating high school seniors from Kellogg, Mullan, or Wallace high schools with a minimum 2.0 GPA, who are active in school and the community, and demonstrate some financial need. Deadline is March 15.

Manuel and Gladys Schneidmiller Scholarship Fund

For graduating high school seniors from Post Falls High School planning to attend a public college or university in Idaho or Washington State University or Eastern Washington University. Must demonstrate financial aid. Minimum 3.0 GPA. Deadline is March 31.

Salmon River High School Scholarship Fund

For graduating high school seniors or graduates of Salmon River High School in Riggins. Must be currently enrolled or planning to enroll at a college, university, vocational, or technical school. Former recipients may reapply for additional funding. Deadline is March 15. 

Theodore H. Correll Memorial Scholarship Fund

For graduating seniors from Moscow High School with a GPA of 3.0 or higher and demonstrated financial need. Deadline is March 15.

Erle and Cynthia Byram Scholarship

For students graduating from any high school in southern Idaho (south of the Salmon River) with first preference given to any student who has resided in Gooding or Camas County for at least one year prior to application. Some scholarships will be based on financial need, while others will be based both on need and academic achievement. Deadline March 15.

For graduating high school seniors from Buhl High School who demonstrate financial need. Deadline is March 15.

For graduating high school seniors from Mountain Home High School enrolling full-time at any post-secondary institution in Idaho.

Jim Poore Memorial Scholarship Fund

For graduating high school seniors in Ada, Adams, Boise, Canyon, Elmore, Gem, Payette, Valley or Washington counties, or graduating high school seniors in Marsing, Homedale, Bruneau or Riggins, or first or second year students attending the University of Idaho or Boise State University. Deadline is March 15.  

Merritt Brook Scholarship

For graduating seniors or previous graduates from an accredited high school in Blaine, Camas, Cassia, Gooding, Jerome, Lincoln, Minidoka and Twin Falls counties with a minimum 2.5 GPA. 

Mountain Home High School Class of 1960 Trust Fund

For graduating seniors from Mountain Home High School planning to obtain undergraduate education or other training.

Richfield High School Scholarship Fund

For graduating seniors from Richfield High School intending to enroll full-time in any post-secondary institution. Minimum 2.0 GPA. Deadline is March 15.

Robert C. Weaver Memorial Scholarship Fund

For part-time or full-time traditional or non-traditional students pursuing post high school vocational or academic training.  Preference given to residents of Buhl, graduates of Buhl High School, or former residents of Buhl. Deadline is March 15. 

Rupert Elks Lodge Scholarship Fund

For graduating seniors from Minidoka or Cassia County high schools who will be enrolling at an accredited 2- or 4-year school or institution and who will be pursuing a degree or certification in a career & technical education program or a vocational education program. Deadline is March 15.

Sonja Tarnay Educational Fund

For graduating seniors at any accredited high school in the Wood River Valley who are pursuing a career in the visual and/or performing arts.

William Tews Memorial Scholarship Fund

For graduating seniors or former graduates of Shoshone High School who are intending to major or minor in science, technology, engineering or mathematics. Minimum 3.0 GPA. Financial need will be considered.

Wood River Odd Fellows & Rebekahs Scholarship Fund

For graduating seniors from any Wood River Valley public school, who can demonstrate financial need and whose potential for achievement was not necessarily reflected in his/her overall high school academic performance. 


Southwest Idaho Scholarships

Barbara L. Carnefix Memorial Scholarship Fund

For graduating seniors or graduates of Fruitland High School enrolled or enrolling full-time to study business. Deadline is March 15.

Caldwell Health Services Scholarship Fund

For students who have been accepted for or are currently enrolled full-time in a health career field. Minimum 2.0 GPA. Scholarships are primarily awarded to current residents living with 50 miles of Caldwell, excluding Ada County. Deadline is March 15.

Preference given to students active “on the field” in football and/or baseball athletics (advanced preference given to students active in both) and “off the field” in outdoor activities such as hunting, hiking, fishing and/or camping. Dean and Gay Welch Scholarship Fund

For graduating seniors or graduates of Emmet High School or Black Canyon High School. Students must be attending or planning to attend an accredited program at any 2- or 4-year public or private junior college, college, university, vocational or technical school in the state of Idaho.

Eric Marshall Sullins Scholarship

For graduating seniors or graduates of Fruitland High School. Some scholarships will be based on financial need, while others will be based both on need and academic achievement. Deadline March 15.

For graduating high school seniors or graduates of Emmett High School or Black Canyon High School who can demonstrate financial need and a sincere commitment to further education or training.

Jayo Family Scholarship Fund

For graduating high school seniors at Emmett High School and Black Canyon School able to demonstrate financial need.  One scholarship awarded to a student graduating with honors.  One scholarship awarded to a student planning to attend a vocational or technical school or program.

For graduating seniors or graduates of Emmett High School.

Kuna High School Scholarship Fund

For graduating seniors at Kuna High School who demonstrate financial need and sincere desire for further education or training.  Deadline is March 15.

For graduating seniors at Boise High School.  Scholarships awarded to students who demonstrate improved academic performance during high school, and who want to better themselves through education and training.  Deadline is March 15. 

Perc H. Shelton and Gladys A. Pospisil Shelton Foundation Scholarship Fund

For graduating high school seniors or graduates of McCall-Donnelly High School intending to enroll full-time in a degree-seeking or certification program, with preference given to students who demonstrate financial need.

Ronald P. and Ethel R. Rawlinson Memorial Scholarship Fund

For graduating high school seniors or graduates of an Emmett high school enrolled or planning to enroll part- or full-time in a medical or paramedical field. Graduate students may apply. Deadline is March 15.

Ted Ellis Scholarship Fund for the Boys and Girls Club of Ada County

For seniors graduating from any high school in the area served by the Boys and Girls Club of Ada County, who have demonstrated continued involvement in the activities of the Boys and Girls Club.  Deadline is March 15.  

Treasure Valley Family YMCA Scholarship for Civic Engagement Fund

For seniors at any high school in the area served by the Treasure Valley Family YMCA (Ada and Canyon counties) who have made significant contributions to their community through community service. Must demonstrate a passion for working collaboratively to find solutions for civic issues (whether homelessness, healthcare, education, environment, etc.) and have an interest in pursuing civic work (whether career or volunteer) that will strengthen and improve our communities.  Deadline is March 15.

Treasure Valley Family YMCA Y-Not Go On Scholarship Fund

For graduating seniors at any high school in the area served by the Treasure Valley Family YMCA (Ada and Canyon counties) who demonstrate financial need and have a strong capacity for achieving their goals. Minimum 3.0 GPA. Deadline is March 15.

Turn Around Scholarship Fund

For high school seniors graduating from a public high school in the Boise Independent School District or the West Ada School District.

**Note: Any student wishing to apply for this scholarship must be nominated by his or her high school counselor or principal.  All materials must be received by March 15. 

Wendell P.  Carnefix Memorial Scholarship Fund

For graduating seniors or graduates of Fruitland High School enrolled or enrolling full-time to study in the areas of agriculture, horticulture, or a related field. Deadline is March 15.
